CERGU forskare Anja Franck och CERGU doktorand Alexandra Bousiou har varit på en konferens, Contested Borderscapes, i Mytilene, Lesvos i Grekland. Franck presenterade på "Survival And Predation In The Everyday Political Economy Of The Refugee Emergency In Lesvos" och Bousiou (tillsammans med CERGU forskare Andrea Spehar) presenterade på "Governance responses to the “refugee crisis” at the gate of Europe: The case of Lesvos".
