Book Release: Förhoppningar och farhågor - Sveriges första 20 år i EU


Book Release

The book Förhoppningar och farhågor – Sveriges första 20 år i EU will be released and presented on 9 December from 12:00-13:00 in the entrance of Sprängkullsgatan 19. Please join us!

The first 25 in attendance will receive a copy of the book. The editors, Linda Berg and Rutger Lindahl, will begin with a brief overview of the book in general and its four themes. Following this, six of the book's contributors will give short presentations on their chapters. There will be concluding remarks and time for questions from the public.


This event will be held in Swedish.

This event is part of the 2014 Jubilee year.

During 2014 the Centre for European Research (CERGU) and the Centre for European Studies (CES) at the University of Gothenburg will mark the 20th anniversary of the Swedish referendum to join the EU and the 15th anniversary of the successful European Studies programme at the University of Gothenburg. 14/11: Commemoration of 20 years since the Swedish vote on membership in the EU (10.00-17.00, Vasaparken)

9/12: Release and presentation of book Förhoppningar och farhågor – Sveriges första 20 år i EU

The release of a video game about the European environment at the University of Gothenburg was released in summer 2014.
