European Parliament election - check out our factsheets and films!

Starting today, it is possible to vote in advance in the European Parliament elections in Sweden.

In order to increase knowledge about the election and voting behavior, the Centre for European Research (CERGU and the Swedish National Election Studies Programme (SNES) have produced a number of factsheets to be published twice every week up until the election day, May 26 (in Sweden). You can find the English versions of our factsheets here: https://cergu.gu.se/english/publications/fact-sheets-

CERGU’s director Linda Berg, and Olof Larsson, political scientist and member of the CERGU network of researchers, have also each recorded a short film about why the European Parliament election is important (in Swedish). You can find the films here:

We have also arranged a number of public seminars relating to the European Parliament election this spring. The latest was May 6, in cooperation with the European Elections Monitoring Center, the European Parliament and the student organisation Brännpunkt Europa.
