Catalonia, Brexit and European Identity

National movements are growing in Europe, often in contradiction to European integration. In Catalonia, northern Italy and Belgium, there are regional movements to secede from countries. Britain voted for an exit from the EU, but in Scotland the majority voted to remain, and the issue of independence has gained new momentum. What are the patterns and relationships that form identity perceptions in today's Europe?

New research is presented and current issues are discussed in the Social Science Faculty series of lunch lectures held every other Tuesday. The series is organized in collaboration with Folkuniversitet.

This event will be held in Swedish.
